Planned Supplier Maintenance and Impact to International Sanctions and PEP Intelligence service
As part of a supplier change to the Detailed Investigation functionality within item checks International Sanctions and International PEP, GBG ID3global is changing the way it’s customers consume the information for the detailed investigation report.
Currently the information is navigated to via a URL link which can be opened within your web browser, this method is to be deprecated as this service will no longer be provided by the supplier. Instead, the information will be available in a PDF format which can be downloaded in your web browser or alternatively be streamed via the web service method call.
Benefits of this method of delivery for GBG ID3global customers: • Provides a point in time snapshot of the information in a PDF from when user clicks on the link • No more screen printing and copy and paste errors when users want to export from the URL link information • PDF format is un-editable and can be saved by the user for documentation • The previous URL link will change over time and may not provide a snapshot of the information that was used during the initial due diligence process
Only concerns customers using ID3global licence option : 2007 Sanctions - Detailed Investigation (Enables detailed investigations into Sanctions, Peps)
Impact to customer: • Portal user: User will be directed to a PDF output in their browser rather than a URL link web page containing the information. • Web Services user: If user is integrated to the previous method call they will now receive “This Web Service Method is no longer in use, please contact your account manager.” And will no longer receive detailed investigation information.
